New Product Launch | Welping Tracker 7 and Tracker 10 Bring Welding Records into Focus
When an HDPE butt fusion joint is complete, the work does not end there. Project teams may still need to check the welding parameters, review what happened during the process, and file the record for future reference.
Welping has introduced the Tracker 7 and Tracker 10 butt fusion data loggers to bring those tasks together. They calculate welding parameters, guide operators through the process, monitor key data in real time, and save a record for each joint.
Guidance Throughout the Welding Process
After entering the pipe size, wall thickness, and material, the operator can select a welding standard and use Tracker to calculate the relevant parameters. Its 13-step guidance covers the process from preparation and facing through heating, changeover, pressure-up, and cooling. Tracker supports ISO 21307, DVS 2207, GOST R 55276, and custom welding parameters.
During welding, the screen displays hydraulic pressure, heating plate temperature, and ambient temperature, with curves that show how the readings change over time. Operators can follow the data on site, while project teams can review it after the joint is complete.
A Record for Every Joint
Tracker records pressure, temperature, and time alongside pipe, machine, and project information. Records can be organized by project, operator, result, date, and time, making it easier to find a specific joint when the details need to be checked. The system also compares recorded data with the selected parameters and displays a result with fault indications where applicable.
The device stores more than 10,000 welding records and supports data export as well as individual or batch printing. Its built-in printer lets operators print a record at the jobsite, and one roll of printing paper is supplied as standard. Records can also be exported through the USB port for electronic filing.
Two Screen Sizes
The Tracker 7 has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, while the Tracker 10 has a 10-inch capacitive touchscreen. Both offer the core monitoring, guidance, and recording functions, giving customers a choice of display size.
From setting welding parameters to printing the finished record, Tracker 7 and Tracker 10 help keep each joint’s information accessible throughout the project.
