WP450B Product Gallery: A Closer Look at the 450 mm Hydraulic Butt Fusion Machine
We recently completed a new photo set for the WP450B hydraulic butt fusion machine, giving a clearer and more detailed view of the machine from different angles.
Complete Machine Setup
The WP450B is designed for butt fusion of PE pipes up to 450 mm.
A complete machine set includes the main clamping frame, hydraulic power unit, facer, heating plate, and reduction inserts for different pipe sizes.

Clamping Frame and Reduction Inserts
The clamping frame is one of the main working sections of the machine. It holds and aligns the pipe during preparation and fusion.
Different reduction inserts can be installed to accommodate different pipe diameters within the machine’s working range.
The new photos also give a clearer view of the frame layout and how the reduction inserts are arranged inside the clamping system.
Independent Hydraulic Power Unit
The WP450B uses a separate hydraulic power unit to control frame movement and fusion pressure.
With the hydraulic unit positioned independently from the frame, the main working components remain clearly separated and can be arranged according to the available space on site or in the workshop.
The new photo set includes several views of the hydraulic unit, showing its control panel, connections, and overall construction.
Facer and Heating Plate
The facer and heating plate are essential parts of the butt fusion process.
The facer prepares the pipe ends before welding, while the heating plate provides the controlled heating required before the pipe ends are joined.
Both components are designed as separate working units and can be placed into or removed from the machine frame as required during operation.
