FX Series Remote Control: Built for Real Jobsite Use

Feb 28,2026
On FX series butt fusion machines, the remote control is not an optional add-on.
It comes as a standard part of the machine, intended to improve control and flexibility during on-site welding work.
The design goal is simple: make everyday operation easier and more straightforward, without adding unnecessary complexity.
Clear and Purpose-Driven Controls
The FX series remote control uses a simple four-button layout, with each control clearly defined:
Emergency stop (red button)
In the event of any unexpected situation during welding, pressing the emergency stop immediately stops machine movement, providing an important safety measure on site.
Forward and backward buttons
The two central buttons manage the machine’s forward and backward movement during welding, allowing precise and responsive control.
Rotary switch for trimmer operation
The black rotary switch lets the operator start or stop the trimmer directly from the remote, eliminating the need to return to the main control panel.
The layout is intuitive and easy to learn, even for operators with limited prior experience.
More Freedom During On-Site Work

A key benefit of the remote control is the flexibility it offers on the jobsite.

During pipe alignment, movement, and trimming, the operator can position themselves where visibility and access are best, rather than being fixed beside the control unit.

This becomes especially valuable when working with large-diameter pipes or in tight working spaces.
Magnetic Design for Convenient Storage

The remote control features a magnetic back, allowing it to be securely placed on any steel surface when not in use, such as the machine frame or hydraulic unit.
This helps keep the workspace organized and reduces the risk of the remote being dropped, damaged, or misplaced during operation.
Standard Equipment Across the FX Series
The remote control is standard on all FX series butt fusion machines.
It is designed as part of the machine’s overall operating system from the outset, rather than being added later as an extra feature.
As a result, it supports consistent, practical, and efficient operation across a wide range of on-site welding conditions.
