Welping WP250A in Use on a Jobsite in Islamabad, Pakistan
These photos were taken on a jobsite near Islamabad, Pakistan.
The work was carried out in an open outdoor environment, with equipment and pipes set directly on a gravel ground surface. There was no fixed workshop or dedicated foundation at the site.
The machine used on this project is the Welping WP250A butt fusion welding machine, applied for on-site HDPE pipe butt fusion welding.
Site Setup
From the photos, the WP250A is shown in its standard configuration.
The machine frame, hydraulic power unit, electric facer, and power supply are arranged separately, with clear connections and a layout consistent with common field practice.
No additional supports or special modifications were used. The machine was placed directly on site and put into operation after basic setup.
Operation on Site
The pipes have been clamped and aligned before welding.
Clamping appears even, and the pipe axes are kept aligned, providing a stable condition for facing and subsequent welding steps.
The facer, hydraulic unit, and power supply are positioned to allow straightforward operation. The workflow is clear, and the operation follows a normal on-site welding sequence without unnecessary adjustments.
Working Conditions
This project represents a typical outdoor working environment commonly seen in South Asia and the Middle East.
Although the site conditions are relatively simple, requirements for welding quality and operational stability remain the same as in more controlled environments.
The photos show the WP250A operating under these conditions in a normal working state.
